The original article entitled “Prevalence of pathologic findings in maxillary sinuses in asymptomatic patients using cone beam computed tomography, published in International Journal of Head and Neck Pathology, on pages 5-11, Issue 1, Volume 1, 2018,[1] is a duplicate publication of the same article by the same author, published in Journal of Clinical & Experimental Pathology, on pages 1-6, Issue 4, Volume 8, 2018.[2] Plagiarism, unethical publication or redundant publication violates the editorial policy of International Journal of Head and Neck Pathology, which follows best practice guidelines given by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) mentioned on the Information for Authors and as codified in the signed statements made by the authors regarding the copyright of their work.
